The SW-8N is a neat, compact and well-built 8-way charger, but it isn’t much of a speed demon, taking just under three and a half hours to charge our 2,000mAh test batteries. However, it isn’t noticeably slower charging eight batteries than it is charging two, and 850mAh AAA batteries charge in under 90 minutes. Don’t make it your top option if you’re always in a rush, but it’s a champ when it comes to value for money.

The best battery chargers you can buy in 2023 1. Duracell 45 Minutes Hi-Speed Charger: Best all-round chargerKey specs – Batteries charged: 1-8x AA, 1-8x AAA; Power source: 100-240V Mains; Charging status indicators: 8x red/amber/green LED; Fast charging: 2.5 to 6 hours; Dimensions: 147 x 119 x 28mm; Weight: 240g You can substitute multiple bulky wall adapters for this single travel-friendly charger. While you can use this to charge up a bigger item, such as a laptop, it will take longer. And if you are using your laptop at the same time as charging, it might not be able to keep up with demand (depending on what you are doing). Sure, it’s no speed demon, with charging times running from two and a half hours for 650mAh AAAs to nearly six hours for a set of 2,550mAh AAs, but it’s great to be able to fuel up eight AAs in just under five hours. What’s more, the charger works with US and European voltages as well as 240V, so as long as you have a Figure-8 mains cable for wherever you’re going, the BQ-CC63 can travel with you. Throw in safety cut-outs and a five-year warranty, and you’ve got one of the best options out there for charging a whole bunch of batteries at once.

Watch out when comparing super-fast chargers, as the times stated might only apply to a specific size of battery with a specific capacity, not the 2,300mAh AAs you have in mind. It’s usually fine to mix batteries of different sizes within the same charger, but you should avoid mixing batteries of different types (such as NiCad and NiMH), different voltages and capacities or old and new batteries. If you do, there’s a risk of damaging the batteries or affecting their capacity long-term. The risks are lower with chargers that charge batteries individually in slots, rather than the usual pairs, but overall it’s best to charge and use batteries of the same type, capacity and brand together, at the same time. The majority of chargers on the market use silicon semiconductors. Gallium nitride (GaN) is a relatively new alternative to silicon that offers a lot of benefits: GaN chargers are smaller, more efficient, and require fewer components than silicon chargers. They’re also more expensive. Ultimately, traditional silicon chargers are fine for most people. If you’re looking for the absolute slimmest option on the market, however, it's likely to be a GaN charger. We know that the world of charging is a bit of a minefield and it can feel like there are loads of specs to sift through. So, we've done the hard work for you and collected the best iPhone chargers below. When you have the best iPhone, you pretty much have infinite possibilities for keepingbusy and entertained, no matter where you are. Sure, the iPhone may not be marketed as a gaming phone specifically, but it's pretty powerful — especially with the A17 Pro in the latest iPhone 15 Pro. That new processor means the Apple mobile gaming experience is only getting better and better, with Apple's new chip being able to play console-level games like Assassin's Creed Mirage and the Resident Evil 4 remake. You must keep a few things in mind when shopping for a fast charger. First and foremost, you need to make sure it supports PD.An adapter with a USB-C port is also essential for the fastest charging speeds. While those games aren't available yet, there's no shortage of great games to play. But when the App Store has over a million apps, how are you supposed to find the best games to play? Don't worry -- we're here to help! Since there are a ton of games out there — and not every game is a winner — it's definitely hard to find games that are worth your time and energy. Whether you're looking for a simple match 3, an MMORPG, a dungeon crawler, or even something to just relax with, here are the best iPhone games you can play right now.

The Spigen 40W Dual USB-C Wall Charger is a USB C PD charging port featuring up to 30W of Power Delivery output with a single USB-C port loaded and a 40W max (20W for each port) with both ports operational. The Spigen works with mobile phones or laptop, as its 30W output is compatible with various MacBooks, iPads, and other USB-C devices. Its 20W output enables the fastest charging speed for iPhones and AirPods. Its Navitas Gallium Nitride (GaN) chipset allows the charger to operate with higher efficiency and generate less heat than other chargers. This device ensures safety by managing a 15-point safety standard and reducing heat dissipation. iPhones have long supported faster charging with a 12W iPad adapter, and Apple improved on that rate by introducing fast charging via USB Power Delivery (PD) with the release of the iPhone 8 in 2017. Most newer iPhones, such as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, can charge at between 25W and 27W. It isn’t as fast as the Duracell or Energizer models, taking just over 90 minutes to charge our 2,000mAh batteries and around two hours to top up a pair of the bundled Eneloop Pro AAs; but it’s very flexible, handling one to four AA or AAA rechargeables in any combination. We also like the informative indicators, which turn amber in the 20% to 80% charged range, green when they hit 80%, and then off when the battery is fully charged. Mix epic battery life with efficient charging, and you have one of the safest and more reliable chargers around. Apple first introduced fast charging in 2017 with the iPhone 8 (although what we call fast speeds on iPhones would be considered slow compared to some Android models). The fastest chargers for iPhones use USB-C connectors, as we'll explain below, and the key thing you want to look for is "PD" (which stands for Power Delivery). It's a high power specification that makes charging faster when using a USB-C cable. Compatible with USB Type-A and USB-C, the PowerPort Atom III from Anker has versatility, fast charging capabilities, and a compact form. Whether you have an iPhone, Android phone, or tablet, the PowerPort Aton III can power up just about any device. Its dual ports allow you to charge two things simultaneously, delivering up to 45W of power through the USB-C connector and up to 15W via USB-A.

The most significant thing that marks out one charger against another is its charging speed. Slower, cheaper chargers are usually labelled as overnight chargers, taking somewhere between six and nine hours to charge a set of AA batteries. Fast or rapid chargers work at much higher speeds, taking anywhere from four hours to under an hour to charge your batteries. This requires more technology to manage the voltage and ensure the batteries don’t overcharge or get too hot. As a result, they come with a higher price tag. Next, take time to assess your needs. Do you frequently charge multiple devices simultaneously? If so, buying a charger with multiple ports probably makes sense. Do you have AirPods or an Apple Watch to charge? Look into a wireless charging pad (but expect slower speeds).
