Their videos are usually a bit on the starchy side, but there’s some decent information in this video from Champion Helmets in the Netherlands (8m 30s). A purpose-designed Bluetooth motorcycle helmet has all the necessary components fitted and tested, so you know it’s going to work reliably. But with numerous different systems available, and an ever-increasing list of possible features, how do you know which one is right for you? The bluetooth is essentially similar tech to the Sena 10S headset, which is kinda entry level these days. The latest headsets use bluetooth 5.1 and mesh technologies which creates a web of connections for up to 24 riders. Whereas the Savage’s set uses bluetooth 4.1 supporting 4 rider connections. Have comfort and convenience when wearing this modular touring helmet from Sedici. This is the second version of the Sistema, and it's even better than the first. The shell is a unique blend of fiberglass and aramid fiber molded into a design that reduces lift and wind turbulence. It’s not got any weather protection, so while I haven’t had any problems –and open face helmets aren’t the usual choice of all-weather commuters – it’s just worth being aware of, if only to make sure it’s dry before plugging the charger in. Try holding the helmet still while you move your head – if you can turn your head or tip it up and down to any significant degree, the lid’s too big or the wrong shape for you; a very large proportion of bikers own helmets that are too large for them. As the interior naturally compresses during use, those helmets will get noisier, less comfortable and less safe.
