The sharks mouth/nose area just rests upon the shoulder, strangely it was very good at staying in place - perhaps he had his teeth sunk in! The sharks foam material had some severe creases from being folded in the package, but I found the lowest heat setting and minimal steam ironing removed them perfectly, I suggest test an area or off cut first! An inflatable red float comes with the set and has a short rope loop attached, you have to blow it up yourself. The shark was quite long on me - i'm 5ft2", so I cut his tail off, I say tail, but actually there is no tail, it's just a straight across hem which could be improved on. It was a bit wrinkled when it arrived, but I ironed it while hanging with a damp cloth between costume and steam iron.
